Planned as a strategic move by Epic to reintroduce Fortnite’s iOS edition on the European App Store, this act is in line with their desire for the Epic Games Store to be among the top multi-platform software markets. Matching the tune, the CEO of this company talked about how it would compete with other companies on payment methods, charging fees between 0% and 12%, but would offer more unique games like Fortnite.

Recently, during the State of Unreal event, Epic revealed more about the Epic Games Store’s mobile version. In a statement made by the company, it said developers using its platform can look forward to fair terms, which include revenue sharing at 88/12 percent. This also includes keeping all money generated through their own payment processors, among other things.

After Fortnite had been removed from its availability on smartphones, players started seeking ways of playing it without installing the game on their devices; some were using Xbox Cloud or Nvidia GeForce Now.
